I was unable to make my first appointment on time, so I called the office in November to let them know. The receptionist seemed a little cranky. When I called back to reschedule a few months later, I found out that the receptionist never even entered that I had called. The current receptionist informed me that my chart said I was a "no call no show" and that therefore, Dr. Blinky had made a notation on my chart for me to "seek another dentist." It seems pretty unprofessional to brush people off that way. I guess I have to blame the receptionist not the dentist, and I hate to blame low paid workers for ANYTHING, but I understand that the dentist doesn't have time to NOT rely on what the receptionist does or fails to do.
